TUS Talks is the brain child of Soror Adrianne Chivers. With an impressive background in communications and film production, it was her desire to showcase the diverse knowledge of the Sorors of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated as well as develop an avenue by which other various subject matter experts could share key information to help empower our community. We encourage you to join us as we bring this vision to life!

We hosted a proactive self defense and personal safety workshop taught by Dwight Trimble, a black belt in Kempo Karate.
Safety should always be your number 1 priority as a woman. It is very important you have street smarts, assertiveness and physical techniques if you ever need to defend yourself. This was a FREE, HANDS ON workshop that we hope you didn't want miss! Stay tuned for more TUS Talks coming soon.
