About

The Golden Dawn Foundation

Golden Dawn Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit program of CCFEI. It was established on October 15, 2018 to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the areas of wellness, education, personal development, social action and economics. While serving the City of Inglewood and reaching the larger Greater Los Angeles population, GDF saw the need to support and uplift women as a lifeline to our communities, in their educational and professional aspirations and as a part of growing healthy and happy families.

Fundraising & Philanthropy

Golden Dawn Foundation is launching with our Inaugural Fall Fundraiser, the '90's Throwback Paint & Sip on December 15, 2018 at The Metaphor Club in Los Angeles. This year our other events will include an Infant & Expectant Mother Supply Drive and Youth & Parent Symposium in the Spring. We will cap off the year by awarding $2000 in scholarships to 3 high school seniors on their way to college. Students must complete an application packet which includes a personal statement, official transcripts and letters of recommendation showcasing good character and community service. Once reviewed by scholarship committee, the scholarships are awarded and students are recognized via media platforms. Our goal within our first few years is to award over $20,000 in scholarships, impact over 200 women and families, directly, and establish an annual scholarship event and celebration.
