Britney Kirkwood graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2010, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Management and in 2018 received her Masters degree in Public Administration from California State University Northridge. In 2018, Soror Kirkwood co-founded a non-profit organization, launching a woman’s health initiative; providing resources and aid to various woman and children in need.
Soror Kirkwood became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc, in Spring of 2018 via Theta Upsilon Sigma, and has been honored to serve the community while exemplifying excellence through sisterhood and service ever since; serving as the Programs Chair.
Soror Thompson became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in the Fall of 2001 via this very chapter, “THE ULTIMATE” Theta Upsilon Sigma chapter! She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and later earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. The latter degree led her to her current positon as a Human Resources Generalist for the City of Long Beach.
Soror Thompson has held numerous offices within the chapter including, Epistoleus, Anti-Grammateus, and Anti-Basileus where she was the chartering advisor for the Rho Eta chapter at Loyola Marymount University. Soror Thompson currently holds the title of Co-Advisor to our local Philo Affiliate.
Soror Lamisha Hines earned her Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis is Counseling
Degree from California State University at Dominguez Hills, with a Pupil Personnel Services as
well as a Child Welfare and Attendance Credential.
She has worked with children in the K-12 setting as a counselor for the past 17 years.
Currently she is a (PSA) Pupil Services and Attendance Counselor with Los Angeles Unified
School District in the Foster Youth Achievement Program. With her extensive background working with children, Soror Hines was appointed to the position of Rhosebud Advisor. As the Rhosebud program is new to Sigma Gamma Rho as of 2017, Soror Hines used her knowledge to develop an exciting, in-depth program for these young ladies that is already enriching their lives.
Strategic Partnership Liaison
Soror Adrianne D. Chivers was born into SGRho as a charter member of the Rho Eta Chapter at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) on December 8, 2006. She served as chapter Basileus until her graduation, and then as the advisor to the Rho Eta undergraduate chapter for 7 years thereafter. Soror Chivers has served on the Regional level as Syntaktes Assistant and Conference Vendor Coordinator, under Past Syntaktes Roschoune Franklin. Soror Chivers also served as the Conference Hostess in 2014, when The TUS hosted our Regional Conference and currently serves as the Area 1 Coordinator.
Currently, Soror Chivers serves as our Strategic Partnership Liaison.
Soror Lisa Griffith was inducted into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Spring 2013. She is an active member of Theta Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter, currently serving as the Rhoer Advisor, and has previously served as the Grammateus. Soror Griffith received her Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles and her Master of Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary's University of Los Angeles.
Soror Griffith strongly believes and stands by the three pillars of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.: Scholarship, Service and Sisterhood. She believes the pillars to be the foundation for inspiring and encouraging today's youth to pave their own path; have their voices heard; and developing them into transformational leaders of the future.
Soror Erika Jessie fell in love with, and was inducted into the Delta Gamma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. in December of 1999 at San Diego State University. She later graduated SDSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Communication Studies.
In 2006 Soror Jessie opened the doors to the Kemp Jessie Insurance Agency where she and her staff provide unparalleled customer service and product knowledge. She also currently serving as a board member for the Norse Way Business Association.
Soror Jessie was reclaimed into the Theta Upsilon Sigma chapter where she currently serves as Co-Advisor to our Philo Affiliate.
