Rhoer Clubs were originally founded in 1939 at the 14th International Boule of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority in New York City. The Rhoers consist of middle school and high school aged young ladies that are organized on a local, regional and national level. They participate in many of the sorority's community service activities as well as their own service opportunities. In addition, Rhoers help their own communities while they learn about their heritage and develop leadership skills. Today there are over 500 Rhoer clubs worldwide, and the membership is growing each year. Sigma Gamma Rho is dedicated to helping Rhoers to grow to be women of substance dedicated to service.
The Rhoer Club is a group of socially active girls achieving academic excellence, ranging from ages 12-17. Through this club, young ladies work to help each other and the community, while learning about their heritage. In addition, they receive scholastic assistance and mentoring from the women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Creating memories that will last a lifetime and bonds that can never be broken.
