what is goodwill?
Most people think of Goodwill as a place that accepts donations of unwanted items, in order to resell them for profit. However, Goodwill Industries International, Inc. is so much more.
Goodwill serves those with disabilities & disadvantages by providing education, training, work experience & job placement services. With the help of your donations, the great people at Goodwill can fulfill their mission to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.
did you
know?
what is
the goal?
We are partnering with Goodwill of Southern CA, to host a donation drive! Donations will be collected and placed into large bins. On average, each full bin provides a week of assistance for someone who is trying to get back on their feet. Our goal is to fill 25 bins.
Help us raise funds and make a difference in 25 lives by rounding up your unwanted items and bringing them down to Darby Park on April 15 between 8 and 11 am.
